Customer Service Representative – Road Ready Insurance Agency
Road Ready Insurance agency specializes in the trucking and transportation market across the country. The agency is currently licensed and selling in 48 states with corporate offices in Fort Lauderdale FL.
We are seeking a self-motivated and licensed 4-40 customer service representative (CSR) to work alongside our team of trucking and transportation insurance specialists.
The ideal candidate will have experience and knowledge within the commercial lines insurance industry. Must be comfortable working in a fast paced environment and have excellent communication, attention to detail and customer service skills.
Responsibilities:
- Field and screen new leads while gathering basic information about the client’s needs
- Call on existing leads to gage interest level and make notes
- Answer client questions regarding coverages, policies, and provide general information
- Communicate directly with Insurance companies, Brokers and MGA’s on policy details
- Package and complete necessary documents with insured in order to bind insurance
- Upload policy and client information to agency management system (Applied Epic)
- Receive client’s payment by way of credit card processing and or ACH/Wire
- Produce requested Certificates of Insurance (COI) through agency management platform
- Process renewals, endorsements, changes and cancellations of existing policies
- Communicate as needed with accounting to ensure numbers and information is accurately recorded.
- Request positive feedback in way of “Reviews” from current and past clients of the agency
- Monitor FedEx, and US Mail on a regular basis

Requirements:
- Active 4-40 insurance license
- Minimum of 1-year experience within commercial lines insurance
- Fluent in English (Spanish speaking is a major plus but not a requirement)
