Insurance Agent – Road Ready Insurance Agency
Road Ready Insurance agency specializes in the trucking and transportation market across the country. The agency is currently licensed and selling in 48 states with corporate offices in Fort Lauderdale FL.
As a sister company to a national truck and trailer sales dealership and an equipment finance company, the agency has many organic leads that come in on a daily basis.
We are seeking a self-motivated agent looking to grow and build their book of business within the trucking and transportation industry. This agent will be responsible for working the leads that come in on a daily basis from our sister companies as well as bringing in new business.
Trucking insurance premiums generally range between $12,000 – $25,000 per truck in which our average client has anywhere from 1-25 trucks within the fleet.
The ideal candidate will be extremely motivated and willing to put in the work to achieve a desired high compensation with no cap limit on commission.
Compensation Structure
- Salary/Draw based on experience and need
- 40% Commission on New Business
- 25% Commission on Renewal Business
Responsibilities
- Work incoming leads as well as generate new prospective business leads
- Fully understand and educate clients on the various needed trucking coverages
- Track communication and deal flow through notes and activities within agency CRM system
- Build complete files and gather needed documentation to submit for quotes
- Review, sell and close competitive insurance quotes to prospective clients
- Maintain account relationships with clients throughout the policy period

Requirements
- Active 4-40 or 2-20 insurance license
- Minimum of 1 year within insurance industry
- General knowledge of trucking & transportation insurance is a plus
